The Armiger was born
September 15, 1950 in Pittsburgh, the son of Albert M. Norbut and
Helen Louise Norbut. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and
Temple University School of Medicine and now works as a pathologist at
Sewickley Valley Hospital in Sewickley.
In addition to the traditional heraldic significance, the pall
represents the three rivers of Pittsburgh, PA while the tinctures of
Sable and Or represent the colours of the Pittsburgh sport teams known
as the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. The golf clubs represent his
sports passion and the saltire formations pay homage to the origins of
the game in St. Andrews, Scotland. |
