The armiger, a retired
soldier, has worked as a chef. The three swords represent his
military career and the colours, green, white and red, represent his
Welsh heritage as displayed in the National Flag of Wales.
The Maltese crosses
represents the armiger’s membership in the “Ordo Supremus Militaris
Templi Hierosolymitani” (Latin for “The Sovereign Military Order of
the Temple of Jerusalem”). He is also a member of the Royal
Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes and the British Red Cross; the
armiger has been the recipient of two Red Cross International
Meritorious Service Awards and has served for over thirty-five years.
